Players must remember that the tee off zone on the course is not for practice swings. Players must not stand near, in front of or too close to other players. When the other golfer is making his shots one should be quiet so as not to disturb their concentration during the shot. In order to avoid any delay in the game players must be ready to play their ball. As soon as the shot is over leave the tee, players must make sure that the game flows at its pace and hence do not linger on at the course unnecessarily. Etiquettes to be followed on the Green While on the green players must remember that the ball which has the longest distance from the hole has to be played first. Players should also not tread on the putting lines of their flight partners. Be sure to mark your ball as early as it lies on the green. When the flight partners want to take their puts stay away at some distance. Unless the flight partner plays his ball stay quiet. Take the ball out of the hole by picking it up by hand instead of the putter. Before leaving the green be sure to remove any marks that may damage the green such as spikes, flag hole and others. These simple etiquettes must be kept in mind not only by the beginners but also for anyone playing the game as they help in enjoying the game thoroughly.
